About Us:
Deeperlife Outreach Ministries is newly formed. We are a missional Church, with a passion for the Great Commission and a relational church, empowered by the Great Commandment. This position does NOT have a salary initially but will evolve into one.
Our occupation and pursuit of the Great Commission is in relevant terms, and have modeled ministries to facilitate the accomplishment of these endeavors. We seek God to direct men and women whom He has called to partner with us that together we may excute the vision of the church.
This vision involves launching ministries in local communities by developing and growing small groups into fully functional churches.
Requirements:
In addition to the general competencies, You should:-
a. Share the beliefs and core values of Deeperlife Outreach Ministries.
b. Be able to develop and model personal spiritual disciplines (i.e) prayer, fasting, meditation, study of the word, servant-hood, submission, etc.
c. Carry out biblical shepherding, caring for the spiritual well-being of the members and friends of the church.
d. Develop and utilize skills in personal counseling and human relations.
e. Maintain positive intra-church relationships through constant, open and effective communications with members, fellow-workers and be sensitive to the role of church government.
f. Display biblical integrity and ethics in such areas as in the treatment of others, confidentiality, dependability, impartiality, etc.
g. Have a general knowledge of the nature, history, importance, background and content of the bible.
h. Have a working knowledge of the various methods of bible studies, teaching, evangelism, etc, and be able to utilize those methods in growing the church. (spiritually and numerically)
i. Prepare and preach doctrinally sound and effective sermons based on the word of God, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
j. Display relational skills to effectively interact and work with others. Provide visionary leadership by clearly demonstrating God-given vision for the ministries and future of the church.
k. Lead the church in the process of discipleship and assimilation of new members/attendees.
l. Lead the church in fulfilling the great commission within the local community.
m. Manage the various demands placed upon the spiritual, physical and emotional resources of a pastor through balanced sessions of personal retreat, restoration and recreation.
This vision is shared by all who responds to the call of God upon their lives. As you read this we pray that the Holy Spirit will remind you that your call is a "purposeful calling", and that He who calls you is faithful.
Pray about this challenge. Ask God for clarity as to what He has called you into, and ask Him for discernment to recognize which to accept and which to lay aside without regret or guilt; and thank Him for bringing you this far, for continuing to be your guide, and for designing your destiny to include this very day.
